National Portrait Gallery Exhibition

Ross Watson's spectacular and iconic portraits of Ian Roberts and Matthew Mitcham above were selected for inclusion in the recent National Portrait Gallery exhibition Bare: Degrees of undress.
Exploring states of undress, Bare mapped and decoded the meanings, implications and symbolism of the removal of clothes within portraiture. The exhibition included almost 95 works from the NPG's collection and a version of the exhibition will be touring to regional venues from late 2016.
